I have worked in regional, metropolitan and overseas newsrooms. After a long career in newspapers, I become the longest-serving editor of Brisbane Times – an online publication ranked among the top 20 news sites in Australia at the time.

I am award-winning reporter and editor who has completed a newsroom leadership fellowship with the Google News Initiative and Columbia Journalism School.

In mid-2021, I joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as Commissioning Editor – the number one news site in the country.

I am a founding member of Women in Media Queensland and serve as a director on the board of Women in Media Australia.
